Day 01. Arrival Pakse-Dondeth Island(D)

Welcome the clients at Pakse international airport (From Bangkok, Hochiminh, Siemriep), then continue to visit Wat Phu the Kmer ruin built before Angkor Wat, then continue by road to Ban Nakasang Village to take local long tail boat on the vast Mekong River to Dondeth Island. Have dinner at local restaurant and overnight

Day 02. Dondeth Island( B/L/D)

Today is relaxing day, you will explore around this island such as: Liphi waterfall on the Mekong River, the first French local motive in Laos, Buddhish temple….

Day 03. Dondeth Island-Pakse(B/L/D)

Take a local long tail boat on the Mekong River to the main land and visit Phapheng waterfall the widest fall in South East Asia, visit Wat Umhong the Kmer ruin dated on the 06th century, then have elephant riding to Phu Asa the old temple, stay overnight at Pakse

Day 04.  Pakse-plain of Bolevan(B/L/D)

Transfer to the plain of Paksong Bolevan, visit Tad Fan the 300 meter fall, at 9h.00 am: Arrival at Paksong stop for Car changing at: Jhai coffee house and break for a cup of coffee (30minutes). Coffee is FOC for the clients 10h.00 am: Visit Tad Moun waterfall and the organic vegetable farm. 11h.00 am: Continue driving 1hrs to MMC farm on the vegetable fields and the bumpy + muddy road (in raining season) but you will enjoy the adventure !

12h.00 pm: Arrival at MMC Coffee farm where we can stay over night and lunch.  Afther the lunch will take 1hrs to demonstration about coffee Roasting steps and finishing by a coffee testing to Savor the different kind of coffee (Robusta, Arabica and the Typica).

14h.00 pm: Trekking to Phoukatok mountain where the Vietcong used to shooting American aircraft during Vietnam – American War time, and enjoy taking photos of the sunset view.

18h.00 pm:    Arrival at the homestay and relaxing time.

19h.00 pm:    Cooking class and dinner time.

Day 05:   Homestay – Laven village –Tad Maihear waterfalls – Souay village – LaoNgam-Pakse (B/L)

9h.00 am: After breakfast we continue driving by Jeep to Laven village

This village there are over 500 families are living more than 300 years old.

12h.45 pm: Arrival at Tad Maihear waterfall and take a picnic lunch + swimming & relaxing time 1 hrs. (Fruits & Beverages are provided)

13h.45 pm: Continue driving 1hrs to Souy village to visit the traditional bamboo houses. This village 95% of houses are traditionally made by bamboo. The house is generally one room is used for cooking,eating and sleeping. At 5h.00 pm, Arrival at Lao Ngam local market & End of service JEEP Tour. Transfer to hotel. Have dinner at local restaurant and overnight

DAY 01 : CHONG MEK – PAKSE (D)

Late afternoon arrive Chong Mek Border,  the boundary between Thailand and Laos. Meet your local Laos guide at the border.  Transfer to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse at CHAMPASAK GRAND or similar.

DAY 02: PAKSE – WAT PHOU CHAMPASAK – DON KHONG (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy a Pakse city tour. Visit Wat Luang and the local market. Then drive to visit Wat Phou Champasak, the pre-Angkor Wat before proceeding to Don Khong Island. Overnight at  VILLA MUANGKHONG or similar.

DAY 03: DON KHONG ISLAND – PAKSE – UBONRATCHATHANI (B/L-)

Breakfast at the hotel. Take a boat to Li Phi Waterfall, visit the first French ship port. Continue to Ban Piengdee village to visit Khon Phapheng waterfall, the widest fall in South East Asia. Drive back to Pakse for lunch. After lunch transfer to Ubon Ratchathani Airport.

11DAYS GREETING LAOS 2017

DAY 01:  CHIANG RAI – CHIANG KHONG – HUAYXAI  (D)

Welcome the clients at Chiangrai airport. Transfer to Chiangkhong to cross the Mekong River to Ban Huayxai  (Lao international border). Check in at hotel Tavisin. Visit Wat Chomkao Manilad and free for your own exploration in this small town. Overnight in Huayxai at Tavisin Hotel or similar.

DAY 02:  HUAYXAI – PAK BENG (B/L)

At 08.30 am, depart hotel by local taxi TUK TUK( the triple wheels vehicles) to slow boat pier. Take our slow comfortable wooden boat, measuring almost twenty five meters. These last will enable us to carry out a way in relaxing on this 4300 km long mythical river, whose source is at the borders of Tibetan plain. With very full of majestic turn; sinuous and agitated; often flanked sharp-edged rock points, Mekong border historical enters Laos and Thailand, generate laboriously time a way in the heart of the mountains of the Indochinese peninsula. All the address of the “pilots” is necessary for this course out of the common run. DAY 03:  PAK BENG – LUANG PRABANG (B/L)

In the morning, visit local fresh market and Laotheung villages. Then continue the journey from Pak Beng to Luang Prabang towards the mouth of  Nam Ou River. The scenery in the part seems to be even more captivating since the river makes its way through the lush green forests while a number of lovely hill tribe villages could still be seen along the way. Enjoy lunch on board before exploring Tham Ting which is a sacred cave, then visit a local hill tribe village to sample its rice whiskey at Ban Sanghai. Arrival Luangprabang, Transfer to hotel. DAY 04:  LUANG PRABANG (B/L)

06’15 am, Early Morning Offering Food to the Monks (Merit Making ) where you can see hundred of monks walking with bare feet on the street to collect their donation. 07’00 am, back to hotel for breakfast. 08’30 am, We discover this small world heritage town located at the confluence of the Nam Khane River and the Mekong on an old prehistoric site. It became the capital of the Lan Xang Kingdom, the “Kingdom of the Million Elephants », all first Lao kingdom, made up in 1353. Very marked by Buddhist architecture, the city sheltered 60 Pagodas to the 18th century and was built around its “center cosmic “, the Phousy Mount. It always presents a traditional habitat and colonial of the greatest interest. Small and quiet place invites you to calms and relaxing. Discover Wat Mai temple – the former house of Prabang Buddha image and the gold painting wall depicting the last incarnation of Lord Buddha, museum installed in the old Royal Palace, the monasteries and pagodas of Wat Xieng Thong the most beautiful in Luangprabang with Luangprabang style, Wat Vixun and Manorom the Kmer temple style, climb up the Phousy Mount  where you have one overall picture of the city. DAY 05:  LUANG PRABANG – VIENTIANE (B/L)

After breakfast, visit Ban Sangkhong the weaving textile and mulberry paper making villages. Shopping around the town. Then transfer to domestic airport to fly to Vientiane with economic class. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Vientiane. (3* hotel : Day In or Mongkhon or similar, 4* hotel : Novotel or Donchan Palace or similar)

DAY 06:  VIENTIANE (B/L)

Discover this small capital of Laos, such as That Luang stup, the national monument which is very important for all Laotiens, symbolizing at the same time of the Buddhist religion and Lao sovereignty. Visit also of Vat Sisaket, the temple going back to 1818 BC, the only one to be saved by the raid of Siamese in 1828 BC. Vat Pha Kaew, old Royal Temple ( the former house of the emerald Buddha image) transformed into Museum, Patouxai the victory gate, national museum, and war museum and of Vat Chan which is not far from the Mekong River, where we admire it to lay down sun. DAY 07:  VIENTIANE – PAKSE – DONKHONG ISLAND (B/L)

Early morning flight by QV 512 (06.30-07.40) in Economy Class to Pakse, then a road to Ban Piengdee to take a ferry boat across the Mekong River to visit Wat Phou the ancient Khmer stone temple which listed by UNESCO for a part of world heritage site, Wat Phou is older than Angkor. It was founded in the first decades of the 9th century by Jayavarman II, the first king of an independent Khmer nation, Then take a drive to Donkhong Island. Afternoon, enjoy cycling around this biggest island on Mekong River with 09 Km width and 13 Km length. Overnight on Don Khong Island at Auberge Donkhong.

DAY 08:  DONKHONG ISLAND – PAKSE (B/L)

Excursion by the traditional boat on the vast Mekong River to Siphadon area( the four thousand islands) to Donkhon island to visit Liphi waterfall, first French ship pier and first French local motive constructing during the first entry to Indochina. Then take a boat back to the mainland to visit Khon Phapheng the widest fall in South East Asia. Continue journey by driving back to Pakse. Visit Umong the Kmer Ruin temple dated on the 06th century. Overnight at Champasack Palace in Pakse.

DAY 09:  PAKSE – TADFAN RESORT (B/L)

Take a drive about 48 Km to visit Tad Phasoum waterfall and hill tribe villages of Katu, Gae. Continue driving to visit tea and coffee plantation, Tadfan waterfall – the 250 meters fall surrounding by green forest. Enjoy the real nature here. Have dinner and overnight at Tad Fan resort.

DAY 10:  TADFAN RESORT – PAKSE – UBON RATCHATHANI (B/L)

After breakfast, transfer to Chong Mek Lao-Thai international border. Then take a drive about 180 Km toward Cambodia border to visit Khao Phra Wihan, a renowned mountain top sanctuary on the Cambodian border (1500 year Kmer ruin) with superb view. Then transfer to Ubon Rachthani. Overnight in Ubonratchathani at Laithong Hotel.

DAY 11:  UBON RATCHATHANI-BANGKOK (B)

Transfer to domestic airport to fly to Bangkok

Day 1: Arrive in Pakse

Day 2: Pakse – Bolaven Plateau – Pakse (B,L)

Today, we take a day trip to the Bolaven Plateau, formed by an ancient volcano and is famous for its coffee and tea plantations, tribal villages as well as some of the most impressive waterfalls such as: Tad Fan the 300 meter fall, Tad Phasoum fall and Tad Yueng. End the day with a visit to a tea and coffee plantation.

Day 3: Pakse – Don Khong – Don Deth(B,L)

Today, we visit the picturesque pre-Angkorian Wat Phou temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, have a Mekong River cruise by longtail boat to Don Deth island. Explore Don Khone and enjoy lunch on the island before continuing to the Liphi waterfalls, nicknamed the “Corridor of the Devil

Day 4: Don Deth – Pakse – Vientiane (B,L)

Check out in the early morning and we transfer to the biggest waterfall of South East Asia, the Khone Phapeng Waterfall. The falls are the main reason why the Mekong River is not navigable all the way to China.

Day 5: Vientiane (B)

Enjoy a city tour of Vientiane and visit Wat Sisaket, Wat Phra Keo, and the most popular Wat in town, Wat Si Muang. End the day at That Luang, a gold-covered large Buddhist stupa in the centre of Vientiane. In the afternoon, we make a trip to the Buddha Park, a sculpture park in a meadow next to the Mekong River. It is not a temple but it does contain over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues created in 1958.

Day 6: Vientiane – Xieng Khouang (B,L)

This morning, visit to the fascinating local market of Thongkhankham, before transfer to the airport. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check in. Xieng Khouang, the gateway to the Plain of Jars. If time permits, enjoy an orientation tour of the city and visit the Mine Action Group (MAG) Centre to learn about the land mine clearing efforts in the area.

Day 7: Xieng Khouang – Luang Prabang (B,L)

After breakfast, drive to the first site of the Plain of Jars, an archaeological spectacle where giant stone Jars are scattered around the landscape. Thereafter, we begin our long but scenic drive to Luang Prabang. En route, we make stops at villages along the way to stretch our legs, arriving Luang Prabang in the evening.

Day 8: Luang Prabang (B)

Have an early start to the morning to participate in the daily morning ritual of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. Afterwards, we have the option of visiting the local morning market. Afterwards, take a city tour of Luang Prabang to visit some of the important sites including the Royal Palace Museum, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, as well as Wat Mai and Wat Visoun.

Visit the excellent Arts and Ethnology Centre which gives you a further insight into the ethnic mix and culture of Laos. Finally, take a climb of Mt Phousi, which offers a panoramic view over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.

Day 9: Departure – Flight to Singapore

After breakfast, visit Ban Phanom – Weaving village. This is a village steeped in the traditional textile-Making with many families in the village working their looms to provide goods for sale at the night markets. Ban Phanom Textile wiere once supplied to the Royal Family, and weavers today used many of the same techniques and patterns, resulting in the distinctly old fashioned look.

After back to city centre for Lunch and free and easy till departure. Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your flight home.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Luang Prabang airport for your flight.

Day 01: Arrive Vientiane

Day 03: Vang Vieng (B)

Morning have Hot air balloon tour.  Pick up at 6am from the hotel and short drive to take off point. Board the hot air balloon- this is the Vang Vieng most scenic mountain views flight, total flight will be 60 min. After that flight back to hotel for breakfast.

Late morning visit one of the most famous cave of Vang  Vieng. Drive will takes about 30 min and short easy hike up to the cave.  Some part of the cave you can see the good view of the Vang Veieng city.  Late afternoon enjoy in the pool or spa & Relax.

Day 04: Vang Vieng- Luang Prabang (B, L,D)

After breakfast deport to Luang Prabang. It is 230 Km and drive will takes about 7 hrs.  Today the drive will be bit long but along the way scenery will be unforgettable. You will pass by lots of Laos hill area, where you will able to see the farm land, great mountain view.  Finally you will reach the view top restaurant for lunch. From this view point you will able to see the 300 degree of the Laos green hill Mountain. After lunch continue drive to Luang Prabang.

Upon arrival check in hotel and relax in the pool or great spa.

Evening dinner in the hotel.

Day 05: Luang Prabang (B)

After breakfast transfer to Elephant camp for 1 hour Elephant Joy Ride and Elephant feeding.  This one hour joy ride, cover short jungle walk, river crossing and you may be able to ride Elephant one your own.  End of the ride back to the camp and feed the elephant (sugar cane and special grass)

After that drive back to the city for lunch, you will have many option to have lunch along the Mekong river.

After lunch city tour: Visit National Museum (Former Royal Palace of Luang Prabang). This is about 1 hrs tour, it shows history of Laos and Kingdom.

After that visit golden tree Monastery. This is built in 1560 c. This is the most historically significant and impressive of Luang Prabang.

After that take a short hike  about 100m up Mountain Phousi to view the great sunset over the Luang Prabang.  The Mt Phousi  lies in the heart of the old town of Peninsula and is bordered on one side by the Mekong River and on the other side by the Nam Kham River.

After that back to hotel for some rest and relax. Evening drive to the city area for Dinner. After dinner visit the most popular Night Market in Luang Prabang.

Day 06: Luang Prabang (B)

After breakfast transfer to Hmong Tribe village, drive will takes about 45 min. You can visit the village after that start 3 hours hiking to base of the Kuang xi waterfall. This 3 hrs scenic hike will cover mostly in the tropical Laos Jungle, you will able to see some of the wild fruits and many more different plants. End of the hike you will visit the one of the most beautiful water fall of Luang Prabang. You will enjoy the picnic lunch. After lunch, enjoy some natural swimming pool to swim and relax. The water is really blue and it is very clean.

After that drive back to  Town.  Rest and relax.

Day 07: Luang Prabang- Vientiane (B)

Morning after breakfast visit local cottage industry, where Lao ladies make the Lao textile with hand weave. You can also see the live weaving and you may also purchase their beautiful local textile product like scarf, table cloth etc..

After that transfer to city and fee till afternoon. Afternoon transfer to airport and connect short flight to Vientiane. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel.  Evening some free time to visit Vientiane night market.

Day 08: Vientiane – Singapore. (B)

After breakfast visit local wet Market, after that free till departure to airport.

DAY 03: LUANGPRABANG(B/L)

08’30 am, excursion by road to visit Kuangsi waterfall with nice big trees surrounding and where you see the rare Siamese Tiger species and beautiful bears, then continue to visit the wonderful Tadsae waterfall  – this fall  have water just during June-September. Afternoon, visit Ban Sangkhong – the weaving textile villages. Overnight at hotel in Luangprabang.

DAY 04: LUANGPRABANG – PHONSAVAN(B/L)

08’00 am, excursion by road through the mountainous road towards Phonsavan. You arrive in an area of place located at the altitude of 1200 meters and let you discover all initially old Buddhist of Muang Sui, strongly damaged temples during the war during the Sixties and Seventies. Visit some tribe villages such as Mhong, Laotheung along the way such at Ban Keokacham, Ban Sala Phoukhoun. Phonsavan is the new chief town of district of Xieng Khouang province. The area is the historical center of the Phuan language, which belongs to the family of Tai languages. 17’00 am, visit the particular site of Thong Hai Hin, located at 15 kms in the South-west of Phonsavanh and which counts 250 earthenware jars, weighing between 600 kgs and 6 tons. These earthenware jars were cut in molasse (mixture of sandstone and granite) there is more than 2000 years. One does not know exactly if these earthenware jars were funeral urns or not. Others think that they could be containers for wine fermentation or with the conservation of rice. It is possible that these earthenware jars are dependent with the history of the civilization of Dong whose center was to Vietnam. But the mystery remains for the moment ……. !! One can not wait for moment how to admire them! There were several thousands of them but only 500 escaped from the destruction related to the war, since 1945 and especially in the Sixties and Seventies.

DAY 05: PHONSAVAN – VIENTIANE  (B/L)

Discover “Plain of the Earthenware jars”. We discover also another site, Hai Hin Laat Khai, located at 35 kms in the South of Phonsavanh, with 150 earthenware jars on one hill from where the sight is splendid. Transfer to domestic airport to fly to Vientiane with QV 402 16’30-17’00 pm. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

DAY 06:VIENTIANE (B/L)

Discover this small capital of Laos, such as That Luang stup, the national monument which is very important for all laotiens, symbolizing at the same time of the Buddhist religion and Lao sovereignty. Visit also of Vat Sasaket, the temple going back to 1818 BC, the only one to be saved by the raid of Siamese in 1828 BC. Vat Pha Kaew, old Royal Temple transformed into Museum, national museum. Have dinner and Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

DAY 07:VIENTIANE – BANGKOK (B/L)

Visit War museum and take a drive to visit Buddha Park. Have lunch, then transfer to international airport to fly to Bangkok with Lao Aviation with QV 414 16’30-17’50

Day 1: Arrive in Luang Prabang (D)
Upon arrival, you would be met and transferred to the hotel.

Evening after dinner visit the most popular night market in Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang (B,L,D)
After breakfast transfer to Elephant camp for 1 hour Elephant Joy Ride and Elephant feeding.  This one hour joy ride, cover short jungle walk, river crossing and you may be able to ride Elephant one your own.  End of the ride back to the camp and Elephant feeding experience (sugar cane and special grass).

After that drive back to the city for lunch, you will have many option to have lunch along the Mekong river.

After lunch city tour: Visit National Museum (Former Royal Palace of Luang Prabang). This is about 1 hrs tour, it shows history of Laos and Kingdom.

After that visit golden tree Monastery. This is built in 1560 c. This is the most historically significant and impressive of Luang Prabang.

After that take a short hike  about 100m up Mt Phousi to view the great sunset over the Luang Prabang.  The Mt Phousi  lies in the heart of the old town of Peninsula and is bordered on one side by the Mekong River and on the other side by the Nam Kham River.

After that back to hotel for some rest and relax. Evening drive to the city area for Dinner.

Day 3: Luang Prabang (B,L)
Rise early this morning to witness and partake in the daily morning ritual of ‘Tak Bat’ or giving alms to the monks.  This is a unique ritual still followed by the locals in Luang Prabang.  We can also visit the local fresh market to see how the locals shop.

After that back to hotel for breakfast.

After that drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall, upon reaching the you  can be enjoyed scenic water fall from the different points. After that you can have swim in the crystal care water or you can deep your leg and enjoy the sound of the water fall and birds chipping in the surrounding jungle. There will be picnic lunch. After that before retune to have a short visit to Bears Rescue Centre which cares for many abused bears.

Late afternoon return to Luang Prabang , on the way visit Kuang Si Butterfly Park . This park is open for research centre for studying and publishing about the Laos butterflies, host plants and preservation because of the environmental issues in Laos.

After that back at your hotel for rest and relax.

Day 4: Luang Prabang (B,L)
Today relax morning and enjoy your late breakfast.  After that transfer to Mekong river and board the Nava Mekong cruise, this is a Traditional Lao River Boat, it is a four hours- lunch cruise. During this cruise the Nava Sops at the Pak Ou Caves for adventure among  the 4000 sacred Buddhist statues and images scattered about the two limestone grottoes.

After that back to Mekong and continue to visit Ban Chan Neau (Pottery Village) The village is opposite bank of the Mekong River the 300 imhabitants of the small village of Ban Chan, specialize in the manufacturing pottery and bricks and that is the only livelihood for their daily income. They work under the zinc room 8-10 hrs a day. You will able to see the live pottery making.

Late afternoon have short walk around the market along the side of the Mekong river..  Evening back to hotel and rest.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Departure (B)
After breakfast, visit Ban Phanom – Weaving village. This is a village steeped in the traditional textile-Making with many families in the village working their looms to provide goods for sale at the night markets. Ban Phanom Textile wiere once supplied to the Royal Family, and weavers today used many of the same techniques and patterns, resulting in the distinctly old fashioned look.

After back to city centre for Lunch and free and easy till departure. Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
